PDA Member Group Business Overhead Expense
Coverage is subject to underwriting approval by the insurer.
Disability income insurance can help you protect your personal finances when you can’t work. But if you own a business, you should also have business overhead expense (BOE) insurance – to help keep your business up and running until you can return. Depending on your age, you can apply for monthly coverage of up to $20,000 at competitive group rates to help pay for:
- Office rent
- Employee salaries and benefits
- Utility bills, including heat, phone and internet
- Premiums for business and malpractice insurance
You can apply for the BOE program if you are a member, in full-time practice and under age 60. All applications are subject to Company acceptance.
